Jackhammer! Wrestling Legend Bill Goldberg Is Selling His Massive San Diego Mansion

Bill Goldberg, one of the most popular wrestlers to ever step in the squared circle, is looking to offload his 4,630-square-foot mansion in Bonsall, California for $3.2 million. The Mediterranean-style home is befitting for a man who once ran clean through 173 WCW wrestlers in the 1990s and became one of the most feared men in the wrasslin’ world.
Now semi-retired for quite some time — it doesn’t look like he has hung up his trunks for good — the 53-year-old wrestler can enjoy the finer things in life, like collecting cars. And oh boy, does he have some beauties in that nearly 7,000-square-foot, 20-car garage of his.
Come take a tour of Goldberg’s house, horse stables, tricked out garage and his very expensive collection of rare and exotic cars.
A Private Compound

Goldberg’s mansion is set hillside, about an hour north of San Diego. The Lilac Fire of 2017 ravaged the Bonsall area, burning around 4,100 acres and forcing the evacuation of 100,000 people. But the fire did not appear to reach Goldberg’s 28-acre estate.
The Living Room

We’d like to imagine that Goldberg has a hidden surround sound system hooked up to play “Gooooldberg….Gooooldberg….Goooldberg” chants whenever he steps into this five-bedroom house.

During his five years in WCW, Goldberg made $8.9 million in payroll, licensing and merchandise. He was the second-highest-paid wrestler in the now-defunct organization, second only to Hulk Hogan. Goldberg bought the house for $1 million in 1999.
“I pointed to it and I said (to my Realtor), “Where’s this?” Goldberg told the San Diego Union-Tribune. “He says, ‘Man, it’s in the middle of nowhere.’ I said, ‘Take me there now.’”
The Dining Room
/granite-web-prod/43/d0/43d052f99a264c9dbc2704b0c9c5e1e0.jpeg)
This is where Goldberg smashes the table, sticks his tongue out and screams, “What’s next?” when he’s waiting for a second course. Possibly.
The Sitting Room
/granite-web-prod/2c/83/2c83a0899eb745d0a8a2703e7365473d.jpeg)
There’s a picture of a goat in this comfy-looking sitting room. It’s not because he considers himself a GOAT — greatest of all time — it’s because his family adopted a goat in 2014. And he named it Goatberg!

The Kitchen

This kitchen needs to be kept spotless; it’s completely white.
The Master Bedroom

We think this is the home’s 414-square-foot master bedroom, given that it has a fireplace with a rather unusual painting above it. Let’s take a closer look at that.

Yep, that is definitely Goldberg’s tribal-tattooed arm holding a newborn baby.
The Bedrooms

This bedroom is decorated with football memorabilia. It’s no secret that Goldberg loves the sport; before going into the wrestling business, he played defensive tackle in college for the Georgia Bulldogs, and then went on to play in the NFL for the Los Angeles Rams and the Atlanta Falcons. He was selected by the newly formed Carolina Panthers in 1995, but was the first player cut and never played for the team due to injuries.

At $3.2 million and 4,630 square feet, this home comes to $691 per square foot.
The Master Bathroom

The shower has a rustic vibe, a huge shower and an expensive-looking soaking tub near three picture windows.
The Gym
/granite-web-prod/63/ec/63ecb30cdede4ff2b6d78905fa81a965.jpeg)
This gym is how Goldberg keeps himself in such phenomenal shape. He just turned 53 in December and last wrestled against Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam in 2019.
The Pool
/granite-web-prod/7b/2f/7b2f07408b2e4512a6a65dd486ec40ae.jpeg)
Outside is an absolutely mammoth-sized pool flanked by palm trees. There’s also a slide!

The pool would be a great place to practice some wrestling moves. You just know Goldberg has given someone a jackhammer in there.
The Sports Court

Also on the sprawling grounds is a sports court with a sitting area and fire pit nearby.
The Stables

There are also horse stables and horses on the property. Goldberg is more of a gearhead, though; horse riding appears to be his wife’s passion.

The Garage

Goldberg custom built this 6,800-square-foot garage sometime after buying this property. “It’s a monstrosity,” Goldberg told the Union-Tribune. “My wife would never kick me out of the house because the garage is nicer.”

The sprawling garage can hold over 20 cars, and Goldberg has it stocked with some expensive ones. Let’s take a closer look.

Goldberg’s custom-built garage even helped him land a television show. For a time, he hosted the DIY Network show “Garage Mahal,” which aired from 2009-2011.

This beauty is an original 1959 Chevy Biscayne with 335 horsepower that’s worth about $50,000. “It was a moonshiner car. If it had 800, 1,000 pounds of liquor in the back, these shocks — it didn’t move,” Goldberg said.

There’s a long history behind this 1970 Boss 429 “Lawman” Mustang — in fact, there’s a whole website dedicated to it. The short of it is, a lawyer and race-car enthusiast brought this car and other muscle cars to Vietnam during the 1970s for driver training so servicemen and women wouldn’t get into fatal car accidents when they returned from duty.
It’s Goldberg’s most treasured car, and he considers it his duty to take the vehicle to servicemen and women and show them a piece of American military history.

Now that the property is up for sale, we have to ask…who’s next? The next buyer, we mean.
