Fart joke connoisseur and “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane picked up a stunning beachside house in Malibu, California, by plunking down $15.68 million. Per Variety, the 43-year-old purchased the glass-walled manse from Cindy Landon, widow of late television star Michael Landon back in July of 2019, but the new owner wasn’t revealed until recently.
This isn’t MacFarlane’s main house — that one is located above Beverly Hills. Instead, this one has all the makings of a vacation home. It’s open and airy, and sits on a bluff with direct access to the beach. Want to take a look through MacFarlane’s newest property? Read on.

Designed by architect Doug Burdge, the 6,904-square-foot house features huge sliding glass walls for true indoor/outdoor living.

The $15.68 million price tag MacFarlane paid for this six-bedroom house was a great deal for the seller. Landon had purchased the home for $7.5 million in 2015, although she spent some cash renovating and expanding the house while she lived there.

Recharging in this house must be an excellent way for MacFarlane to come up with new episodes for his newest show, “The Orville.” The show has moved from Fox to Hulu for its third season and is slated to premiere there in late 2020.

If you’re wondering whether or not MacFarlane has someone to share that Jack and Jill setup with, so are the gossip papers. MacFarlane was rumored to be dating his former “Orville” co-star, Halston Sage, although nothing was confirmed (she is now dating Charlie Puth). Sage played Alara Kitan, who was given a send-off episode in season two after the actress quit the show.
