Inside Gwen Stefani’s Trippy Beverly Hills Mansion

Gwen Stefani is seeking a buyer for her megamansion in Beverly Hills, but any prospective owner will need to have similar tastes to the singer — the house is like an art museum. A 15,018-square foot, seven-bedroom art museum, to be precise. The home is on the market for $24.995 million, and is the last home that Stefani and her former husband, Bush lead singer Gavin Rossdale, once occupied.

Rossdale packed up his razorblade suitcase sometime in 2015 and the couple divorced the next year, then put this mansion up for sale not long after. But after several years on the market and a few price cuts, the manse still can’t find a buyer. But wouldn't it be sweet to live here?

Walking into Spider Webs (And Art Sculptures)

Parting with this masterpiece must have been some sweet sorrow. Stefani and Rossdale purchased the home in 2006 for $13.25 million, according to Variety. The couple lived a seemingly happy marriage for 13 years, but then rumors of Rossdale cheating on Stefani with the family's longtime nanny surfaced.

Parting Ways With Their Mansion

In 2015, Stefani discovered revealing pictures of the nanny, Mindy Mann, along with texts about meeting up for some discreet encounters, on an iPad. The messages, of course, were meant for Rossdale, but the iPad was linked with another of Rossdale's devices, and the pictures were discovered, according to E!. Stefani then attended the 2015 Grammy Awards all by her lonesome, presumably while Rossdale brooded over some lyrics.

Sitting on the Market

This mansion first went on the market in the fall of 2016 for $35 million. Stefani reduced the price to $29 million in 2018, and again in June 2019 to $25 million. But Stefani herself isn't on the market — she's currently seeing Blake Shelton. Stefani is also looking to get her marriage with Rossdale annulled so the Catholic church will recognize a marriage between her and Shelton, but Rossdale doesn't want to do that. Maybe if this house sells he'll be in a better mood.

A statue of the Virgin Mary can be seen here, along with a few religious candles. Stefani is a devout Roman Catholic; and although it has been rumored that Shelton has converted to Catholicism for her, those claims seem to only be rumors.

A Dizzying Bathroom

One of the half-baths is a Tim Burton-esque display of twisting black-and-white stripes, a circular mirror with nine black petals and a blood red sink.

The...Gift Wrapping Room?

Like the Spelling Mansion, Stefani's home also has a gift-wrapping room, according to the listing at The Agency. It also says there is a Lego room for children, although it's unclear where these might be.

This room features a large marble table and oodles of closet space, so it may very well be the gift-wrapping area. Or maybe it's just a place to sit down and deal with industry power players.
