Which one makes you say “You got it, dude,” and which one makes you go, “No way, Jose”?

Calling all “Full House” and John Stamos lovers (or are they one in the same?): You have to see these two houses that just hit the market. Uncle Jesse is ready to let go of his multi-million dollar property in Beverly Hills, while the stunning San Francisco Victorian that was the TV home to the Tanner family is up for grabs. So if you had the cash, which one of these luxe retreats would you spend the rest of your days within? We compared their kitchens, bedrooms, back yards and everything else to help you make that very decision.

The iconic house from the iconic show is up for sale at $5,999,999. For that princely sum, you’ll get 3,728 square feet of living space, four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms.

Looks like Stamos can afford more than the Tanner family. The 55-year-old actor’s home is listed for $6.75 million. It has about 4,000 square feet of living space, with four bedrooms and four full bathrooms.

From the street, you’ll know that this is the house from “Full House” (the show itself was shot on a set, and the interior of this house was never on the show). It’s an 1883 Victorian by Charles Hinkel Lewis that was fully renovated by “Full House” producer and owner, Jeff Franklin. Franklin bought the home in 2016 for $4 million and put some serious redesign cash into the property which added nearly 800 square feet of living space. Before the redesign, you could rent the house for $13,950 a month.

Stamos’ home isn’t lacking real estate creds. The home was built in the 1940s. Stamos says that Frank Sinatra used to have a house next door, but that house, along with several others near the Stamos property, have been torn down. The home is located in the Beverly Hills Post Office section of the already exclusive 90210 neighborhood. Next door residents included Do Won Chang, founder of Forever 21, and a mansion owned by a Saudi prince, according to Variety.

The house from “Full House” isn’t actually one of those famous painted ladies from San Francisco. Those houses, which are shown in the “Full House” intro, are located in the Alamo Square neighborhood, but that’s only a mile away. But the Tanner home with the red door (which is now, like the Rolling Stones song, painted black) is still gorgeous.

The “You” star’s compound is a classic Beverly Hills split-level Mediterranean covered in ivy and with a path of flagstone stairs leading up to a pair of French doors. It’s a beauty for sure, but it’s hard to beat the “Full House” Victorian, at least on the outside.

Since this property is located in San Francisco, you won’t be getting a lot of outdoor space. However, the house from “Full House” makes excellent use of the little space it does have, with a cozy picnic table situated in the middle of two bracket-shaped hedges. Also notice the ivy-covered trellis in the back.

It’s a no-contest here: Stamos’ shack has the better outdoor space. It includes a beautiful little pool/guest house, a pool, flagstone patio, outdoor barbecue station and vast views of Los Angeles.

While it doesn’t look like the television show, the entryway to the real “Full House” show (located in the Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood) is stunning. A black-banister stairwell leads to the upper floors, and a beautiful bay window looks out toward the steep streets of San Francisco.

Dark wooden floors, an exposed wood beamed ceiling, towering stonework mantle and at least two sets of French doors along with a number of long, squared windows make up Stamos’ grand living room.

The Kitchen: ‘Full House’ House

Serving dinner at the Tanner residence seems like a breeze. Marble countertops and a marble island with farmer’s sink, a double-range stove with marble-brick backsplash and ample space in the stormy-blue cabinetry create a spacious-looking kitchen.

Stamos’ kitchen is more rustic than the “Full House” Victorian, with black cabinets, large solid wood table, a double oven with a huge hood range and a skylight in the wood-paneled ceiling. Just adjacent to the main cooking area, a couch and another, smaller gnarly wooden table (with two baby stools) create a comfy breakfast nook.

The master bedroom in the Tanner residence is situated on the upper floor, with a large bay window framed by a stately archway. The room is a chic black and white, with an inset cloth headboard that nearly reaches the ceiling. Also of note are a walk-in closet and private bath.

There’s nothing too fancy about the Stamos bedroom, which is just big enough to fit a four-post king (or possibly California king) bed. The old, wide wooden floorboards are timeless.

The “Full House” Victorian has been completely remodeled and designed with a modern touch. The prominent color here is white, with touches of black included for good measure. The bathrooms, fireplaces and the kitchen have calacatta oro marble touches and the midcentury modern furniture lends blends in perfectly.

Stamos’ home has a very lived-in feel. The home is rustic and adorned with wood furniture that matches the dark hardwood floors, wood ceilings and wood-trimmed windows. The bathrooms and bedrooms are small, but not cramped.

Stamos’ four bathrooms vary in design, from 1950s traditional American style to a more European-influenced design in the master. There are some rad wooden vanities that seem to be hand-picked, and walk-in showers with differing tilework from room to room.

Stamos’s pad features a guest house filled with Beach Boys memorabilia — which makes sense. If you remember, the Beach Boys made a “Full House” appearance during the show’s second season. But more importantly, Stamos has been an on-and-off again member since the mid-’80s, and even sang the lead vocals for “Forever” on the “Summer in Paradise” album. Check out the video here. Have mercy!

The home also features a great children’s room. This one is for Stamos’ child, William “Billy” Christopher. He and his wife, Caitlin McHugh, welcomed him into the world in April 2018. Now that Billy is growing up, the couple is planning to move into another, presumably larger, residence in Hidden Hills, California, People reports.
