When you need a playlist to make you run faster, work harder and get ready to take on the world, there's only one artist you need: Beyoncé. She first rose to fame as the lead singer of Destiny's Child in the '90s and didn't stop there. She went on to release six solo albums and became the highest-earning black musician in history in 2014.
In 2020, she was also presented with BET's Humanitarian Award by Michelle Obama, who eloquently stated: "You can see it in everything she does, from her music that gives voice to Black joy and Black pain, to her activism that demands justice for Black lives. She's always turning up, looking out and making us all a little bit better, a little more fierce, and she's doing it all while staying devoted to her children and the loved ones she holds dear. So to my girl, I just want to say, you inspire me. You inspire all of us."
We couldn't have said it better. At the 2021 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé showed us all just how much of a queen she is by winning her 28th Grammy, making her the most decorated woman in Grammy history. Oh, and did we mention? Her daughter, Blue Ivy, won a Grammy of her own — and she's only nine.
As thrilled as we were to celebrate Beyoncé's incredible legacy, Twitter was positively screaming about it. In case you've forgotten how amazing Queen Bey is, these Beyoncé tweets will remind you.
