Eric Ortiz was the head of content and strategy at Big Edition. Before that, he was an editor at ESPN.com, the founding editor of NESN.com (New England Sports Network's website) and a managing editor at Truthdig. He also was a John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University, ran his own tech media startup and wrote a children's book about community building with his children called "How the Zookalex Saved the Village." When Eric is not working or giving back to his community, he likes to exercise, cook, read, write and have fun with his family.
